Overview
When working with clients, we take a truly multi-disciplinary approach. That is, our clinicians (Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists) and our Literacy Specialists work together to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
The advantage of working in a multi-disciplinary way is that all client needs can be met under the one roof!
At each stage of the Assessment, Clinical Sessions and Specialised Lessons process, we consult with the client to determine which professional they will be working with, and we draw on the expertise of those relevant to the client. For example, for some clients they will only need to work with the Speech Therapist. For other clients, they may require the Psychologist and Literacy Specialist. Each client is individual and requires different professionals to be involved.
We aim to work together where required – throughout the Assessment, Clinical Sessions and Specialised Lessons, to ensure client outcomes are maximised, and that all learning issues are accurately identified and addressed.
